PIVOT is a summer training company for early career collegiate and professional dancers ages 18-25.
In this program, dancers will be led through a choreographic process to build greater artistry and physicality in dance work and approach to performance. Program participants perform in Adaptations Dance Theater’s Bring it Home Concert at the Iao Theater.
Curriculum: Dancers will take a movement warm up every day for 30 minutes before moving into classes that reflect various aspects of the choreographic process. Dancers will be challenged to expand their contemporary technique and physicality as well as their theater abilities.
Program Dates: August 8th-17th, 2025
Schedule: Classes and rehearsals take place from 10:00a-3:00p on scheduled days—a minimum of 6 full days in the studio—plus 2 evenings of dress rehearsals.
Show: Participants will perform in three shows at the Historic Iao Theatre as the opening performance to ADT’s Bring it Home Concert on August 15th, 16th, and 17th.
Tuition: $850
