Update (as of August 10, 2023): We extend our deepest love and support to those affected by the tragic fires across Maui. We are continuing with the Bring it Home weekend of shows because we believe it's important to offer the arts for those who have the head and heart space to participate and gather in community. We are here for those of you who would like to join us, and we totally understand those of you for whom that is not possible. We will be collecting supplies to contribute to ongoing efforts to aid those impacted by the tragic fires on Maui. Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring any of the following items:

• toiletries (including feminine hygiene products)

• non-perishable food

• bottled water

• bedding

• towels

Donations will be collected starting 90 minutes before showtime (theater doors open 30 minutes prior), and delivered to respective collection agencies (Maui Food Bank, KHAKO, MHS).

Adaptations Dance Theater’s Bring it Home dance concert is the culmination of a year-round creative process that celebrates the homegrown talent of Maui’s contemporary dance artists.

Bring it Home brings together an evolving company of Maui's resident artists with those who have left the island in pursuit of a dance career elsewhere. Together, this rich company of artists create original choreographic works during a one-month residency so that our island community can enjoy original, professional contemporary dance featuring the hearts, minds, and experiences of Maui's own. 

Bring it Home celebrates creative people and processes; values experimentation and the exploration of new ideas; and recognizes the role that artists play in improving our collective quality of life.
